SOTA KEBNEKAISE SM/NB-001 JULY 20TH 2010

QRP Radio-club SA2ME planerar en expedition till Kebnekaise SOTA SM/NB-001. Tiden för detta äventyr kommer att vara runt den 20 juli. Vi kommer att försöka vara aktiva på 80, 40 och 20 meters bandet. Aktiviteten kommer att bestå av två delar, dels QRP/P från toppen samt en del där vi försöker köra SOTA stationer. Om alla planer går I lås så kommer vi vara uppe vid toppen I 36 h! The QRP Radio-club SA2ME will activating the SM/NB-001, mount Kebenekaise, on July the 20th 2010. We will operate on the 80, 40 and 20m band. Mount Kebenekaise is 2111m and located in the northern part of Sweden 67°53′52″N 18°30′20″E in the province of Lappland. In order to get there you will have to walk 20 km first to get to the base camp. From this camp it will take you around 8 h to get to the top. The summit is always covered in snow and the view and the midnight sun is magnificent!
